Lisa Jackson is a Professor in the Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering Department within the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering at Loughborough University.

She has over 15 years’ experience of research and industrial collaboration. Her research area is Risk and Reliability modelling including work on advancements in reliability modelling techniques for safety critical systems, system fault diagnostics and prognostics, alongside system and process optimisation (including positioning and routing of vehicles) for enhanced service provision.

She has published more than 120 papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences and worked with industrial collaborations within the engineering domain of the MoD, Rolls Royce, Intelligent Energy, Arcola Energy, as well as wider involvement in other sectors including the Police Constabulary.

Her current projects include health monitoring for low carbon energy sources, with a focus on potential application in military domains.
